Matthew 5:13-15 (New International Version) -- Salt and Light
13 You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled by men. 14 You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.
Mission
Our purpose is to equip Christians in the workplace to be the salt and light; turning the “word” into action by providing Christian example in business (salt) and by providing an attracting witness to others in the workplace (light).
Opportunity
Taking Care of Business at Cornerstone
Have you ever found the workplace to be a challenging environment for Christians? Have you ever wondered if others face similar issues? Have you ever wanted a study to find out what the Bible says about the workplace? If, so the Business Outreach Ministry at Cornerstone has an opportunity for you. We call it “Taking Care of Business at Cornerstone”. It is a 7 week study teaching and equipping Christians for the workplace while relating to current issues in this sometimes difficult area of life. We utilize video with a study guide developed by Andy Stanley and offer flexible scheduling. If interested, call the church at 941-907-3939 or send an e-mail to
