We are a curriculum driven Sunday School. That means we have an overall plan of education for our children from age 3 to Age 12 when they are then promoted to our Youth Program. Our classes are fun-filled and age appropriate. Our philosophy is that young children are capable of learning when taught properly. We also understand that to keep the attention of our young ones, learning must involve some fun as well. We do both exceptionally well because of the caliber of our curriculum and our faithful teachers. The Show Me Jesus Curriculum is world renowned, and thoroughly Biblical Based, with the presentation of the unfolding story of Christ, the promised Savior. It presents Jesus as the focal point of Scripture, from Genesis to Revelation.
Showing Jesus, who came to seek and save the lost, pervades each class.
Children's Sunday School Class Schedule
Fall 2008 through Summer 2009
Classes begin at 10:45 AM and end at Noon.
(Same time as our second Worship Service)
Toddler Class: 3 year olds (out of diapers)
Subject: God's Family -Beginning the Line of Promise - Adam through Joseph
PreK & Kindergarten Class: 4 & 5 year olds
Subject: God Leads His People - God's thrilling rescue of Israel from Egypt and how the Old Testament points to the Savior
Younger Elementary Classes: 1st & 2nd Graders
Subject: Obeying God – Stories about the prophets and kings
Middle Elementary Classes: 3rd, 4th, & 5th Graders.
Subject: God's Grace in the Law –Applying the Ten Commandments; a study in Exodus
