Home Fellowship Groups are Where it Happens at Cornerstone!

Home Fellowship Groups are made up of 8-12 people, singles and/or couples, who meet twice a month in people's homes for friendship, support, sharing, Bible study, and prayer. Many people find the best friends they've ever had in these groups. They also find a safe place to ask the real questions of their hearts and to find honest answers from others on their spiritual pilgrimage. These groups are designed to be non-threatening. If a person is new to the Christian faith or investigating Christianity, these groups allow them to get invovled without having to find Bible verses or pray out loud in group situations. These groups are a fun and easy way to learn how to study the Bible and learn to love Jesus!
Home Fellowship Groups

Check the list below for a Home Fellowship Group that will meet your needs.  We are continually forming new groups, so check back frequently.  We recommend you try a few small groups before choosing one.  Just let each group that you visit know that you are "searching" for a group.  To try a group, just call the leader and ask them about upcoming group events.  You will find a quick invitation.  Existing groups welcome you with open arms even if they have had the same people attending for years. 
 
Home Fellowship groups meet twice a month and also organize planned group activities on occasion. The groups do not meet in the summer months, but do get together for fun during the summer break.
 
Bradenton Area
 
Dunaway Group - Chris and Dawn Dunaway are leading a group for 20's and 30's singles and marrieds.  They meet off SR 64 in Bradenton.  If you'd like to find out more, just give Chris or Dawn a call at 750-9267.
 
Dickmann Group - Mixed age group (singles and couples) meeting off University Parkway.  Call Dave or Nikki at 355-3617.  Meets on the second and fourth Sunday evenings of every month.  Childcare provided. 
 
Brian BEST CHRISTIAN Slager Group - Mixed age group (singles and couples) led by Brian Best and Christian Slager meeting in the Bradenton area.  For more information, call 896-5175.  Meets on Sunday evenings.  Childcare provided.
 
Ellenton/Parrish/Palmetto Area
Datz Group - Middle age group meeting in the Ellenton, Parrish, Palmetto area.  This group normally meets on the 2nd and 4th Thursday evening of each month.  Call Gil or Barb Datz at 752-8972 for more information.
 
Lakewood Ranch Area
 
Deucker Group - Middle age group meeting in Lakewood Ranch near the church on Thursday evenings at 7 pm.  Call Rick or Linda at 351-3402.
 
Daniels Group - Middle age group meeting in the Lakewood Ranch area.  Call Bob or Margaret at 752-3786.  Meets on the first and third Wednesday evenings.
 
East Manatee Home Fellowship - Mixed age group meeting in  East Manatee on Sunday afternoons.  Call Steve or Sandra @ 739-0877 if you’re interested.
 
Volponi Group - A Bible Study held at Cornerstone church in Lakewood Ranch.  Meets on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month.  All are invited.  Call Tony at 379-2723.
 
Sarasota Area
 
Donato Group - Mixed age group that meets in South Sarasota.  We have short six-week studies to accommodate people that are unable to make long term commitments.  Call Jim or Angela at 921-5479 for more information.
 
Sam Dickmann Group - "Younger" crowd meeting in South Sarasota area.  Call Sam at 806-7043 for more information.
 
West Sarasota Group - Meets 2nd and 4th Thursdays.  Call Scott and Kathy Hase for information 383-2150.
 
McGee-Brown Sarasota South - Mixed age group meeting at the home of Dick and Joan Brown 1st and 3rd Wednesdays at 7:00p.m.  The group is studying the book of James.  Call 924-4618 for more information.
