Jesus sent his disciples into the world to share the life-giving, life-transforming message of the gospel. The great gulf between sinful man and a holy God is bridged by Jesus' sacrificial death on the cross. And through this gospel, God is setting people free and building a kingdom. The kingdom is not political, but spiritual, and Christ intends to transform the world and its cultures through it. Change, real change in the world, can only be achieved by the gospel changing the hearts of men -- from the inside out.

 

Cornerstone's MISSIONS TEAM is changing the world! The team has just finished interviewing new foreign missionaries and has chosen two families and two ministries to support this year with our Wave Campaign funds.

 

As Christians go into the world preaching the gospel, the other hand of the gospel ministry is mercy. God calls us to do what Christ demonstrated for us, to work for justice and for mercy.
